About the tides at Jacksonville, Navy Fuel Depot
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.3 ft. On a typical day the water moves about 2.5 ft between high and low. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 3.1 ft, comes on October 10, and the smallest, 2.6 ft, on Sunday.
Jacksonville, Navy Fuel Depot is a subordinate station, so NOAA publishes only its high and low times and heights. The nearest other station is Phoenix Park, 1 mi away, where high tide comes about 10 min earlier. For tidal currents, see Reddie Point, Trout River Cut LB64.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
