About the tides at Jacobs Wharf
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.5 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at Charleston, Cooper River Entrance. The average range is about 3.7 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most South Carolina stations on this site.
