About the tides at La Pointe

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. Water here rises and falls only about 0.47 m on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Nova Scotia stations on this site.
