About the tides at Lagrange Bayou

Most days here have a single high and a single low. Around neap tides the pattern can blur into small double tides. Water here rises and falls only about 0.6 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 0.8 ft, comes on October 29, and the smallest, 0.1 ft, on Thursday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 1.1 ft on September 25 and bottom out at −0.6 ft on January 21.

Predictions for Lagrange Bayou come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here from 1977 to 2025 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Santa Rosa, 7 mi away, where high tide comes about 21 min earlier.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
