About the tides at Loon Island

Loon Island has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 1.36 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 1.81 m. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 0.84 m.
