About the tides at Moon Head

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. The range is large, about 9.0 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 11.5 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 8.6 ft.
