About the tides at Morehead City

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Cape Hatteras Fishing Pier. The average range is about 2.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 4.8 ft.
