About the tides at Oakland Harbor

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. On a typical day the water moves about 4.8 ft between high and low. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 6.5 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 7.2 ft, comes tomorrow, and the smallest, 1.4 ft, on October 17.
