About the tides at San Leandro Channel

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.2 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. On a typical day the water moves about 4.8 ft between high and low. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.8 ft, comes on October 28, and the smallest, 2.1 ft, tomorrow. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 8.4 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −1.8 ft on December 24.
