About the tides at Old Bridge
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at North Old Bridge, South River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. With a mean range of about 5.6 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most New Jersey stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 6.1 ft. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 7.4 ft on September 30 and bottom out at −1.3 ft on January 24.
