About the tides at Pacific Mariculture Dock

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Monterey, Monterey Harbor. On a typical day the water moves about 3.5 ft between high and low. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 5.6 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 0.9 ft, on October 18. Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Monterey, Monterey Harbor, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Elkhorn, 0.7 mi away, where high tide comes about 8 min later.

Predictions are based on Monterey, Monterey Harbor.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
