About the tides at Port Blakely

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. With a mean range of about 7.5 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 13.8 ft, comes on October 26, and the smallest, 8.4 ft, on October 22. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 13.2 ft on January 25 and bottom out at −3.9 ft on December 24.
