About the tides at Port Elgin

Port Elgin has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 1.48 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most New Brunswick stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Friday, with a range of 2.37 m. Neap tides follow on Tuesday, when the range shrinks to 1.54 m.
