About the tides at Quinton
Quinton has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 3.5 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 4.2 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 3.4 ft.
Quinton is a subordinate station, so NOAA publishes only its high and low times and heights. The nearest other station is Coopers Creek bridge, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 33 min earlier. For tidal currents, see New Bridge, Alloway Creek.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
