About the tides at Rabbit Island

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.3 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Galveston Pier 21, Galveston Channel. The mean range is small, about 1.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself.
