About the tides at Redfish Pass

Redfish Pass has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. Water here rises and falls only about 1.4 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 2.1 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 2.9 ft, comes on October 29, and the smallest, 1.3 ft, on Thursday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 2.8 ft on July 4 and bottom out at −0.9 ft on January 21.
