About the tides at Ridgefield Park

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Ridgefield Park, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at NEW YORK (The Battery). The range is large, about 5.6 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most New Jersey stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 7.5 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 5.4 ft.
