About the tides at Saint-Nicolas

Saint-Nicolas has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. Saint-Nicolas sees a mean range of about 3.57 m. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most Quebec stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 4.31 m, comes today, and the smallest, 2.86 m, on Saturday.
