About the tides at Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The range is large, about 1.85 m on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 3.25 m. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 1.14 m.

This is a prediction station. CHS calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. It was established in 1910. The nearest other station is Petite-Tourelle, 9.0 km away. Canadian tide heights use chart datum, a level set low on purpose. Negative heights are uncommon.
