About the tides at Seminole Shores

Seminole Shores has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The pattern follows the reference station at Miami Beach, Government Cut. The average range is about 2.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 4.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 1.9 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 4.3 ft on September 29, and the lowest is −1.0 ft on January 23.

Seminole Shores is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Miami Beach, Government Cut: highs come about 59 min and lows about 35 min earlier than there.
