About the tides at Shell Point, Walker Creek

Shell Point, Walker Creek has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 2.6 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.5 ft.
