About the tides at Panacea

Panacea has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 2.6 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.5 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 4.6 ft on August 31, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on January 21.
