About the tides at Skinners Cove

Skinners Cove has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 1.14 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on Tuesday, with a range of 1.84 m. Neap tides follow on October 21, when the range shrinks to 0.82 m.
