About the tides at Spruce Island (north side)

Spruce Island (north side) has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Kodiak Island, Womens Bay. With a mean range of about 6.9 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 10.8 ft, comes tomorrow, and the smallest, 4.6 ft, on Friday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 11.8 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −2.4 ft on July 5.
