About the tides at St Peters Inlet

Tides at St Peters Inlet are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 0.02 m, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most Nova Scotia stations on this site.
