About the tides at Station Creek, west end

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at West End, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Fort Pulaski, Savannah River. With a mean range of about 6.4 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.7 ft, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 5.1 ft, today. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 8.5 ft on October 27 and bottom out at −1.7 ft on January 23.
