About the tides at Tillamook

Tillamook has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Crescent City, Pacific Ocean. The range is large, about 5.0 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 26, with a range of 8.1 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 4.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 8.3 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −1.3 ft on June 6.

Tillamook is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Crescent City, Pacific Ocean: highs come about 112 min and lows about 195 min later than there.
