About the tides at Barview

Barview has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Crescent City. With a mean range of about 5.5 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.6 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 4.3 ft, on Friday.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Crescent City, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is North Jetty, 1 mi away. For tidal currents, see Tillamook Bay entrance.

Predictions are based on Crescent City.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
