About the tides at Udagak Strait

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Unalaska. On a typical day the water moves about 3.3 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 7.0 ft on December 23 and bottom out at −1.6 ft on June 6.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Unalaska, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
