About the tides at West Creek, Route 47 bridge
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.5 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Lewes, Ft. Miles. The average range is about 2.2 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most New Jersey stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 3.3 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 1.8 ft.
