About the tides at White City
Tides at ICWW are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. Water here rises and falls only about 0.8 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 1.3 ft, comes on Friday, and the smallest, 0.3 ft, on October 8.
Predictions for White City come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. The nearest other station is White City, Gulf County Canal, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 13 min earlier.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
