About the tides at Port Saint Joe

Most days here have a single high and a single low. Around neap tides the pattern can blur into small double tides. Water here rises and falls only about 1.2 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 1.7 ft.
