About the tides at Worlds Fair Marina
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.6 ft. With a mean range of about 6.7 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.4 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.9 ft, comes on October 10, and the smallest, 6.1 ft, on Saturday.
Predictions for Worlds Fair Marina come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here in 2014 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is College Point, 2 mi away, where high tide comes about 9 min later. For tidal currents, see Flushing Creek entrance.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
