About the tides at Allston Creek
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.7 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Springmaid Pier, Atlantic Ocean. On a typical day the water moves about 3.9 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most South Carolina stations on this site. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 5.8 ft on October 27 and bottom out at −1.4 ft on January 23.
