Oaks Creek, 0.5 mi. above entrance has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Springmaid Pier, Atlantic Ocean. The average range is about 4.3 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends.
