About the tides at Back Cove

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Back Cove, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The range is large, about 8.7 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 11.0 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 8.3 ft.
