About the tides at Bay Aristocrat Village
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.7 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay. The mean range is small, about 1.9 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 2.8 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 4.0 ft. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 1.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 3.7 ft on July 4, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on January 21.
Bay Aristocrat Village is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay: highs come about 61 min and lows about 92 min later than there.
