About the tides at Blue Angels Park
Tides at Perdido Bay are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 0.8 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 1.0 ft. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 0.1 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 1.1 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −0.2 ft on December 23.
This is a prediction station. NOAA calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. NOAA measured the tide here from 2008 to 2011 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Nix Point, 0.5 mi away, where high tide comes about 9 min later. For tidal currents, see Pensacola Bay entrance, midchannel.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
