About the tides at Fort McRee Breakwater

Fort McRee Breakwater usually gets one high and one low tide a day, known as a diurnal tide. Water here rises and falls only about 0.9 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 1.5 ft, comes on Saturday, and the smallest, 0.2 ft, on October 8.
