About the tides at Breach Inlet

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Isle of Palms, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at CHARLESTON (Customhouse Wharf). On a typical day the water moves about 4.9 ft between high and low. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 5.5 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 6.0 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 5.1 ft, on Sunday.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at CHARLESTON (Customhouse Wharf), with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
