About the tides at Bridgeport
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Bridgeport Harbor, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. With a mean range of about 6.7 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most Connecticut stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.3 ft. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 8.4 ft on September 2 and bottom out at −1.2 ft on January 23.
