About the tides at Chechessee Bluff

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. The range is large, about 7.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most South Carolina stations on this site. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 9.1 ft.
