About the tides at Cordova

Cordova has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. Cordova sees a mean range of about 10.2 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 12.6 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 15.4 ft, comes on Sunday, and the smallest, 5.9 ft, on October 16. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 15.9 ft on November 25 and bottom out at −3.7 ft on July 5.
