About the tides at Desoto Point

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. Water here rises and falls only about 1.5 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 2.6 ft, comes tomorrow, and the smallest, 1.5 ft, on October 8.
