About the tides at East Matagorda

Tides at Matagorda City are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 0.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most Texas stations on this site.
