About the tides at Egegik River Ent
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Moller, Bristol Bay. The tide range here is very large, about 13.6 ft on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. That is larger than most Alaska stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Thursday, with a range of 18.8 ft. Neap tides follow on October 21, when the range shrinks to 13.9 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 21.5 ft on November 29, and the lowest is −3.4 ft on July 4.
