About the tides at Egegik River Ent
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The tide range here is very large, about 13.4 ft on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. That is larger than most Alaska stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Saturday, with a range of 21.2 ft. Neap tides follow on October 7, when the range shrinks to 14.9 ft.
Egegik River Ent is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Port Moller: highs come about 196 min and lows about 227 min later than there. The nearest other station is Egegik, 5 mi away, where high tide comes about 21 min later.
