About the tides at Eleven Mile

Eleven Mile has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The mean range is small, about 1.1 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 1.7 ft. The next spring tides peak on Monday, with a range of 1.7 ft. Neap tides follow tomorrow, when the range shrinks to 0.8 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 1.9 ft on October 3, and the lowest is −1.1 ft on December 24.
