About the tides at Florence USCG Pier

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 5.5 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.4 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.5 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 4.1 ft, on Friday.

Predictions for Florence USCG Pier come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here in 2013 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Siuslaw River Entrance, 1 mi away. For tidal currents, see Heceta Head.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
