About the tides at Siuslaw River Entrance

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Charleston. The range is large, about 5.3 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 8.6 ft. Neap tides follow on Saturday, when the range shrinks to 3.2 ft.
