About the tides at Golf Island
Golf Island has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The range is large, about 7.5 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 9.7 ft. The next spring tides peak on Sunday, with a range of 11.4 ft. Neap tides follow on October 17, when the range shrinks to 3.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 11.7 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −2.8 ft on December 24.
